Thank you notes to share
This is just a sample of the notes we’ve received this year…
Thanks for sharing your newsletter with us; it is great to hear what you're all up to and the many projects. Words seem so shallow at times to say how much your wonderful Bundles of Love layettes mean to us here as we share them with birth mothers, their eyes light up and the "oos and ahhs" say it all! Again, a big THANK YOU!!! to you all! God's blessings to you all!
In His Name,
B. Sprenger, LSW, MSW
Birth Parent Social Worker, New Life Family Services, Rochester
Dear Bundles gang-
Thanks so much for the recent shipment of awesome items for our babies & families - you are all very special people! … We extend our best wishes to all of you angels for a healthy happy new year!
~ Theresa Wagner, R.N. et al, Regions Hospital, St. Paul
Thank you so much for all of the lovely packages you have put together for our moms in need! We really appreciate the time and love that's gone into each one. These layettes have truly been a blessing to our clients…. God bless you all.
~ Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center, Burnsville
I just want to express my sincere thanks for all of the baby items that I received through Bundles of Love. I am so excited to have so many hand-made items for my new baby. It is hard to provide such nice things for my children when we have to live off of one income. Thanks again for the gift!
~ Sincerely, Michelle Crafton, Apple Valley, MN
Thank you for the wonderful care package…. You people are so special for making all that stuff by hand, then giving it to people you don’t know! That takes special people!
~ Jakki & Raina Brown Eyes, Zumbrota
"May the blessing of the Lord be upon you and strengthen your organization, Amen."
~ The Bensons & their new baby girl, Apple Valley
Thank you for the bundles and hand mitts. We have families here immediately for the bundles, and the NICU nurses were thrilled with the tiny mitts! Anytime someone wants to knit those, we'll be happy to have them. They're so much nicer than the socks we currently use!
We are so fortunate that you introduced yourself and Bundles of Love to our organization. I hope all the people who contribute to the bundles and other items know how much the families here benefit from them!
~ Diane Dingley, director of Child Life, Children's Hospital of Minneapolis
Thank you so much for the collection of clothing, baby goods and beautiful quilt. We and our newborn are enjoying them immensely.
~ The Jersilds
Bundles of Love Workers,
A huge thank you for the 24 "bundles" for newborns. You do such a great service for the community as you individually and corporately share your skills. The bundles make wonderful gifts to young moms and are much appreciated by those who receive them. Please continue to work toward your mission. Your work certainly makes a difference to many in our community.
~ Sincerely, Jan Vetter, Justice and Social System Volunteer Program, Rochester, MN
Thank you for the baby girl layette. It is going to be put into good use…. I will take good care of all the beautiful things.
~ Alicia Thompson, Dodge Center.
I just wanted to write a short note of thanks to those of you in the Bundles of Love program. I am a struggling first time mother-to-be and received one of your layette bags from New Life. I think what you do is wonderful…. You have no idea how much you have helped me….
~ Amanda Cheney, Byron
Thank you for the generous donation of the cozy blankets. Lots of babies at Centro Clinic are enjoying the blankets that you have provided them.
~ Angeles Juarez, Clinic Manager, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, Minneapolis
Unstuffed Toys Needed

We have a group of youth in the Apple Valley area who want to help stuff toys for Bundles of Love in early March. About 30 toys will be needed for this particular event, but we can always use unstuffed toys for future projects for kids. If you can help stitch and cut out toys, please drop them off with your area work coordinator, or mail them to our main office address (7975 166th Street West, Lakeville, MN 55044) by the end of February so we can have them ready for this service project.
Donations that Thank and Honor Your Loved Ones
As you celebrate the birth of a healthy baby… fondly remember a loved one who has passed on … or struggle with selecting the right gift for the person who has everything, consider a donation to Bundles of Love in their name. We will be happy to send a card in recognition of your donation. Please include the name and address of the recipient on the donation form (click here). Be sure to let us know what special event is being celebrated.
Volunteer Record Keeping
Our recordkeeping includes keeping track of all donations as well as volunteer hours. If you are part of a work group, you are probably already reporting this information on a monthly basis. If you work independently and drop off or mail in items, please use our form (click here) or send a note including the same information with each donation. Statistics on volunteer hours are very helpful when we apply for funding, so please estimate and report all hours spent helping Bundles of Love.
