As part of our ongoing efforts to raise funds to support our growing mission to help local babies and their families, Bundles of Love announces its 2007 Fall Fundraiser Event.

Who: Anyone who believes in the Bundles of Love mission to help local babies and their families. Children, youth, adults, of any age, are all invited!

What: entertainment, a silent auction and the ability to for you to “Sponsor a Bundle”. This event is being designed for family members of any age. Start your holiday shopping early at our silent auction - a wide variety of items for children or adults will be available and come and enjoy the entertainment and good company.

Select Comfort has generously donated a Sleep Number bed for our raffle. An anonymous collection of volunteers are donating a hand-made quilt for the raffle as the 2nd prize. Raffle tickets are $5 each and can be purchased by emailing Mary Jo at president@bundlesoflove.org or phoning Mary Jo at 952-807-7206. You can also purchase them from your work group leaders.

Bundles of Love Charity is a registered 501(c)(3), all-volunteer organization that serves newborn children of families who are in need. Our mission is to provide essential bedding, clothing and care items for newborns in crisis situations while our partner agencies link families to long-term resources as needed. In addition, our scope also includes providing correctly sized clothing for premature infants as small as two pounds, and burial outfits for infants who do not survive.

Bundles of Love works with more than 40 community “partner” agencies, including hospitals, clinics, crisis centers and shelters to provide our services, thus avoiding duplication of efforts and utilizing each other’s services for the benefit of babies and their families.

Our goal this year is to help at least 3,500 families and we are on track to increase our donations to over 60,000 items.

We need your help to succeed in reaching our goals! While we receive thousands of pounds of supplies every year, we must purchase supplies such as quilt batting, snaps, and fabric, including soft flannel, which is not donated in sufficient supplies to meet our needs and pay for other expenses, including storage.
