Fundraisers (updated 2/28/10)

This is where you'll find information on the current and past fundraisers. As I hear about private fundraisers that have been held, I'll try to put those up here too. With a little bit of luck, I'm hoping you'll inspire some people at your office or neighborhood.

There's been a lot going on in our lives so I've been a bit lax getting some of these updates in. For that, I sincerely apologize.

Bethel Bake Sale to Benefit Bundles of Love - June 19 & 20

We raised $586 at the bake sale itself, someone gave us a donation of $25 and Thrivent is going to donate another $250 for a matching grant, for a total of $861!

Thank you to Betty Paulus for organizing the event, baking, and selling both days and everything else you did to make the event so successful. Thank you also to everyone else from Betty’s group, the North Metro work group, and Bethel church for contributing baked goods, all of which looked really wonderful. Thank you to the church for hosting the event.

The Women's Fellowship Group is having another Bake Sale at Bethel Lutheran Church to benefit 'Bundles of Love' on Friday June 19th from 9 am to 2 pm and Saturday June 20th from 9 am to 2 pm. Bethel is located one block west of Dale Street at 670 W. Wheelock Pky [7] in St. Paul.

This year the women promise to have a large display table next to their delectable baked goods to showcase some of these important Bundles that volunteers help to make for the infants and their families whom they are supporting. Our goal is to educate our visitors about what volunteers do and who they do it for. We are also trying to out-do our sales from last year, so stop by and visit us if you can!

Linder's Fundraising Weekend for Bundles of Love

Thanks to Linder's for raising over $300 for Bundles Of Love!!!

Linder's is holding a fundraising weekend for Bundles of Love May 16 to 19 at the Flower Marts and the Main Garden Center. All you have to do is buy whatever plants you need and when you check out, tell the cashier that you are supporting Bundles of Love and they will make a donation to Bundles of Love equal to 15% of your purchase!

If you can't get to Linder's that weekend, and you shop on the weekend of May 23rd to 26th, tell the cashier that you are supporting Everyday Miracles (one of our partner agencies) and they will get the donation.

This is an easy way for us to raise the money we need to purchase supplies and pay the rent, so please pass this on to all your gardening friends.
